Booking Terms and Conditions for Milestone Outdoors:

1.1. These Booking Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all bookings made with Milestone Outdoors ("Milestone", "we", "us" or "our") for hiking and navigation activities ("Activities").

1.2. By booking with Milestone Outdoors, you agree to these Terms.

1.3. These Terms may be amended from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website.

1. Booking and Payment

2.1. To make a booking, you must provide us with your full name, email address, telephone number, and any other information that we may require.

2.2. Bookings are not confirmed until we have received payment in full.

2.3. We accept payment by credit/debit card or bank transfer.

2.4. All prices are in GBP and include VAT.

1. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1. If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible.

3.2. The following cancellation charges will apply:

• More than 14 days before the activity: 10% of the total cost

• 7-14 days before the activity: 50% of the total cost

• Less than 7 days before the activity: 100% of the total cost

3.3. Milestone reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an activity due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or any other unforeseen circumstances.

3.4. If Milestone cancels an activity, we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund.

1. Liability and Insurance

4.1. Milestone holds public liability insurance. However, you participate in our activities at your own risk. We recommend that you have your own personal liability and accident insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

4.2. Our guides and instructors are fully qualified and experienced. However, hiking and navigation activities can involve inherent risks, such as slips, trips, and falls. We cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs during our activities.

4.3. By booking with us, you agree to sign a waiver of liability before the start of your activity.

1. Health and Fitness Requirements

5.1. Our hiking and navigation activities require a moderate level of physical fitness. Participants should be able to walk uphill and downhill for at least 3 hours.

5.2. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, please let us know before booking. We may require you to provide a doctor's note to confirm that you are fit to participate in our activities.

5.3. If you are pregnant, we cannot permit you to participate in our activities.

8.2. We will do our best to provide a similar level of experience, but we cannot guarantee that the activity will be exactly as advertised.

1. Age Restrictions

9.1. Participants must be aged 18 or over, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

9.2. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to participate in our hiking and navigation activities.

1. Force Majeure

10.1. We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if the delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as strikes, lockouts, or other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, floods, fires, explosions, or natural disasters.

1. Cancellation Policy

24.1. If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.

24.2. If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before the activity date, you will receive a full refund. 90% of the total cost will be refunded.

24.3. If you cancel your booking between 7 and 14 days before the activity date, you will receive a 50% refund.

24.4. If you cancel your booking less than 7 days before the activity date, or fail to show up on the activity date, no refund will be given.

24.5. Milestone Outdoors reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the activity due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.

24.6. In the event of a cancellation by Milestone Outdoors, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule the activity.

25.1. Payment is required in full at the time of booking.

25.2. Payment can be made by credit/debit card or bank transfer.
